“Religion, love, science, art all try to steal something new from the unknown.”
In the beginning, there was no beginning. There was an eternal Chaos of existence - for existence is the default state of all that is. All that can exist, exists. Non-existence doesn’t exist. It is impossible by definition. Hence existence is all there is or all that ever will be. Eternal, unbounded, endless.
That’s why there is something rather than “nothing”. Nonexistence never was nor ever will be. It is like asking what is north of the North Pole. It is not even a wrong question.
In the beginning, there was no beginning. Only Chaos Eternal. Without order. Then came the pattern. It was generated out of the Chaos of the Uncreated in an all-shattering act of creation. The pattern was mathematical and all it did was creating cosmos out of Chaos.
And mathematics is the domain of all possible languages.
Thus, things that are beyond conception were separated from those that can be described. And thus Chaos is forever out of our reach, ungraspable by definition. Chaos is the state of existence beyond any concept. The blessed source of everything.
Some call it Brahman, Tao, or God – but these terms have very personal connotations and have been tainted by religions and mysticism over the ages. There is nothing personal about Chaos. And it is really not interested in the status of your foreskin.
Anything you can say about it, it is also not at the same time. Is it hot? No. Is it cold? No. Is it good? No. Is it evil? No. And yet it contains all of these within it. It is beyond any words that we can use to describe it. Beyond words, beyond mind or feeling. Some have glimpsed it – or rather the idea of it within their minds, hearts, and souls - and described it only as indescribable and unspeakable. The Chaos we can speak about is not the one true chaos.
Chaos is the domain of paradox. A tautology. Existence exists. The bottom of all existence is the paradox of self-creation. The universe simply is, without ultimate cause or explanation. The fractal fire that ignites itself and consumes itself as fuel. Infinite chains of causes spring out of it. Chaos is the domain of change – the only constant in the existence. Even the Laws of Physics of our universe fold back into it in the singularity and the big bang. Nothing is ever permanent.
I use Chaos just because I can imagine that there might be something beyond imagination. A placeholder for all that is beyond the grasp of the human mind. The idea that even grand concepts like mathematics were generated by something that math can’t really contain. A not-code beyond the code.
Everything we can talk about, think, or feel is here. It also works the other way around – everything we can express in math; we can talk about or at least imagine. There is a close connection between math, mind, and language.
Chaos and math have no overlap even though one exists within the other. Once it can be described or even thought about, it stops being Chaos and becomes math. It is either/or. Our external physical reality is a mathematical structure as long as we can understand it and Chaos when we stop. That is, the physical universe is not merely described by mathematics, but is mathematics.
Every time you name something that previously had no name, you cut a tiny bit from infinite chaos and add it to the ziggurat of the cosmos. Creativity brings fresh ideas out of Chaos into reality.
Naming what was never named before. Seeing what was never seen before. Imagining the unimaginable. Reach for that spark of Chaos within – the feeling that denies all description. That’s creativity. Find it and keep it in your heart forever. You are the universe self-observing and self-creating.
The entire cosmos is created by you and for you. All you ever perceive is you yourself. You are now. And now is all there is. The patterns inside you are created by the patterns outside and the patterns outside are created by the patterns inside. The final revelation is that there is no outside or inside – they are both one seamless whole. Observer and the observed are one.
Thus consciousness reaches ever higher.
I quote “ Every time you name something that previously had no name, you cut a tiny bit from infinite chaos and add it to the ziggurat of the cosmos. Creativity brings fresh ideas out of Chaos into reality.”
This is really amazing way to let other know how these both are part of different realms.
We need to get dissolved with the chaos to understand it and all is understood in that one moment itself just like a whole forest becomes visible in dark night due to flashlight formed by lightening. All religion or scriptures are just like torch and can never let us experience the chaos. It happens on its own, and it happens for sure. Just we need to do our best and wait receptively like a female.
