Musings on Living in a Magical World
We live in strange times. Or perhaps, more accurately, we live in times where the strangeness has become visible to all.
Let’s begin with a simple observation: People, by and large, believe in magic. Not the wand-waving, sparkly-fireworks type (although some wouldn’t mind that either), but in its many contemporary and ancient incarnations.
Let’s look at the numbers. A Pew Research Center study in the U.S. showed that over 60% of adults believe in at least one form of paranormal or supernatural phenomenon. More than four in ten Americans believe in ghosts. About a third believe in astrology. More than half believe in some form of life beyond Earth. And a sizable chunk is convinced that we live in a simulation, a theory even respected physicists have seriously debated.
Now, add the spice of conspiracy theories. The Anunnaki allegedly engineered humanity. The Gnostic demiurge is believed by some to rule our world from behind the curtain of matter. Reptilian shapeshifters, lizard people, grey aliens, fallen angels, archons, demonic portals, soul harvesting matrices, quantum manipulation, psychic vampires, time travelers, hidden dimensions, project looking glass, angelic emissaries, spiritual walk-ins, and of course the ever-classic Illuminati mind control grid.
Even the more palatable versions still drip with mysticism: Law of Attraction, manifestation, karma, reincarnation, ascension, kundalini awakening, twin flames, synchronicity, soul contracts, new earth timelines, and quantum healing.
Religions? Still going strong. Billions believe in angels, demons, resurrection, divine judgment, and miracle-working saints. Even atheists meditate. Spirituality is the norm, not the exception.
And then there’s that darker tale whispered between memes and podcasts—the claim that a cabal of satan-worshipping elites rules the world, adept in black magic rituals, practicing them openly at public events, manipulating masses through symbols, sacrifice, and spellcraft. Whether one believes this or not, it remains one of the most prevalent modern myths. And like all myths, it reveals a deeper truth:
We already live in a magical world.
The cat is out of the bag. Most people, in one form or another, believe that reality is not what it seems. They know there’s more going on. Something deeper. Something stranger. Something enchanted.
But here’s the irony. Despite all this belief, how many actually use it?
How many meditate every day to hone the clarity of their awareness? How many use the Law of Attraction to reprogram their thoughts and change their trajectory? How many light a candle and whisper a prayer—or better, a spell—with focused intent?
The secrets are no longer hidden. You can find ancient magical texts in PDF format online. You can learn how to do a basic banishing ritual on YouTube (or, indeed, on my blog here). The symbols are everywhere, decoded and public. The occult is no longer occult—it’s open source. The rituals are on TikTok. The grimoires are on Reddit. The transmissions are live-streamed.
And yet—so few care to act.
If the old secret societies are watching, surely they must be disappointed. All their secrecy, all their guardianship of sacred rites, all their coded manuscripts and whispered initiations—blown wide open. And no one even bothers to pick up the wand.
So here’s a quiet little call, from one initiate to another:
"For not the hearers of the law are just before God, but the doers of the law shall be justified."
Act.
Meditate. Practice. Cast the spell. Speak the word. Align your mind. Live with intent.
If you improve your life—even a little—you improve the world. If you change your vibration, you change the field. If you act in harmony, the harmony will return to you.
The magical world is already here. All that’s left is to live in it.
Start today.
