Art of Manifestation
The concept of manifestation has been around for centuries and has been practiced by many individuals in various cultures and belief systems. It is the idea that one can control and change their reality by controlling and changing themselves. This is based on the concept of the veil of perception, idealism, and the Hermetic maxim, "As within, so without".
Everything we know, experience, and perceive is only ever our own mind and nothing else. The "things in themselves" are forever inaccessible to us and are hidden behind the veil of perception. The things in themselves belong to an infinite field of information and our mind, (along with the minds of others), make reality real through the process of observation. Thus, the consensus reality is brought forth. What we are is what our reality is, and the only thing we can change and control is ourselves. But, in changing ourselves, we also change our world; that is where the magic happens.
Self-actualization
In order to change and control one's reality, one must first figure out the truth about themselves, and then change themselves into what one wants to be. This is known as self-actualization. That is the name of the game.
Self-actualization is a concept in psychology that refers to the process of reaching one's full potential, becoming the best version of oneself, and fulfilling one's innate desires and abilities. It is often associated with Abraham Maslow's theory of human motivation, which posits that self-actualization is the highest need in a hierarchy of human needs, and only becomes a priority after basic physiological and safety needs, as well as social and esteem needs, have been met.
Self-actualization is a lifelong process that involves understanding oneself, exploring one's values, beliefs, and interests, and striving toward growth and self-improvement. It involves deeply exploring one's thoughts, feelings, and behaviors, and making conscious choices to align them with one's chosen personal values and goals.
The process of self-actualization is different for each individual and can involve a wide range of activities, such as pursuing personal interests and passions, developing new skills and knowledge, and forming meaningful relationships with others. It happens through persistent, goal-oriented habit-building.
Self-actualization is considered to be an essential component of mental and emotional well-being and is thought to lead to greater happiness, satisfaction, and a sense of purpose in life. It can be a challenging and ongoing process, but one that can bring a greater understanding, and a sense of fulfillment and contentment.
By applying persistence one can even change on the subconscious level - rebuilding the deepest reaches of self into its ideal state. And in doing so, the creative powers of the subconscious mind can be recruited to help in the execution of the mage's will.
Practical Applications of Manifestation
The easiest way to communicate and "seed" ideas into the subconscious is through a state akin to sleep (SATS), whether through meditation, deep relaxation, or just before falling asleep. SATS is a gate into subconsciousness. Imagination and feeling are the keys.
Once in a SATS state, use your imagination, and create a scenario as real as your fantasy allows, and in that scenario, see yourself as already having what you want. For example, if one wants money, imagine spending it, living it up with friends, and imagine them congratulating you on succeeding big time. The feeling is a shortcut into subconsciousness. One must feel the way they would if it was real – allow yourself to feel all the happiness, joy, and pride it would bring you.
Then assume that what they desire is already done and act, feel, and behave as if it is already done. This is the law of assumption and manifestation. By not being bothered by the lack of money, for example, and instead "knowing" that you already have all you need, you can manifest your desires into reality.
As you bend yourself into the feeling and perceiving of the wish being already fulfilled, the entire universe will bend itself to accommodate. It is a bit counterintuitive, so get eased into it.
Start with something that is easier to believe and a bit more likely to happen and build your way from there. Remember the hermetic maxim and keeps silent about you manifestations. Anything that can be interpreted as showing off the spell or “objective proof” will most likely break the spell. So keep it to yourself.
From the external point of view, it will always look like a coincidence, a lucky accident, or something that would “happen anyway”. But you - you will know it is your will and you will see how the improbabilities stuck one on top of each other… Until the only word left to describe it is “magic”. But in fact, it is science.
There is also a piece of good advice that you should rather imagine and feel a general vibe rather than specific things - ie being happy, free to do what you love, feeling accomplished, and so on, rather than imagining for example a specific car you want to own. Both should be possible in theory, but I found manifesting the general vibe much easier.
But you will see for yourself - test the ladder and follow your instinct ;)

Addendum: This is not to say you can or should have complete control over everything. I guess you can’t and won’t unless you become a god.
The metaphor I like to use is "surfing the waves of chaos". Learn how to surf the waves and the entire ocean is yours. But - also realize that you can never control the ocean.
