A year ago, I had an experience that I have now come to understand as a spiritual awakening. Albeit of the non-abiding kind. It didn't turn me into a wise sage, but it show me the true essence of reality in a way that is as undeniable as sunrise or a first-person experience of the color red. Once you've seen it, you can't un-see it.
Thanks for this piece. I have had similar experiences and it's helpful to see reflection because it reminds me of my own experiences and inspires me to integrate them further. Most recently my experiences have been about accepting all of infinity, that infinite dimensions exist because Consciousness wants to experience and know itself completely, and that includes Everything. This has been hard for me because Everything includes all of the dark, infinite dimensions of suffering. So still working on that piece.
I think the loneliness is true as a reason but I also think there is boredom and curiosity. Thank you for recommending The End of Your World, I will check it out. <3

It is great to learn about your awakening. The journey within is also a never ending phenomenon but this fire is cold, it does not hurt.
Mystic Kabir of India says all people around me are burning in fire and it is raining on me!
