yes! denying our own power is a common self-sabotaging behaviour, as is going to battle against a perceived "they". love this, Felix!

for some it leads to self-centredness, but for others it leads to a strong self. it depends on where one starts. and it is necessary to build a strong self if one wants to learn selflessness without agenda!!

That is true. My favorite people from Qualia Research Institute are calling it "open individualism" a belief that basically the number of souls in existence is literally one and it is all you. Kinda like the Egg by Andy Weir (if you are not familiar, you have to check it out). And the more I delve into spiritual realms, the more I see it as totally true.

Well, people tend to say that, but in fact the most powerful entity is you. And - the "powerful" entities only have as much power over you as you give them. All souls are free, sovereign beings. Or, in other words - demons can't touch you if your vibe is high enough =)

Kinda... =D And yes, indeed it is sad. I guess that's what "trapped in samsara" means, as opposed to "enjoying samsara" which is what I (or dare I say, we?) do ;)
